Assignment Length

Shift

Days, 12-hour shifts
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Current Nebraska or compact RN license
BLS
ACLS
NRP
C-section experience, including circulating
Strong IV skills

Preferred

FHM
Experience with EPIC charting

Unit Details

Labor and delivery/postpartum unit with 10 private LDRP rooms
Average of 50 births per month
No nursery; newborns stay with mothers
Floating may include NICU for feeders and growers only
Every 3rd weekend
One major and one minor holiday
Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks
First to float if qualified and willing

Additional Notes

Traveler-friendly setting
1–2 days of floor-specific orientation
OB/neonatologist coverage is in-house/on call
Respiratory therapy is available 24/7
Pharmacy is on call overnight
Vents are not used on the unit
