Job Opportunity: OT - Inpatient/LTC Float

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minnesota Occupational Therapy Licensure (or willingness to obtain)
• Active BLS (AHA) certification
• Experience with inpatient and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
• Willingness to float to all locations as needed
• Experience in acute care setting preferred; 1 year of experience in the past 3 years preferred but not required
• EPIC electronic medical record experience highly preferred

Job Description

• Evaluate and treat a variety of adult patient diagnoses in acute hospital and SNF settings
• Patient diagnoses include general deconditioning, total joint replacement, post-op ortho, some neuro diagnoses, and general medical-surgical cases
• Provide coverage support for SNF facilities (60-bed and 30-bed SNFs)
• Float between inpatient and LTC units as needed

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, day shift
• No call or weekends
• Occasionally may be the only Occupational Therapist at an LTC location, with phone support available at all times

Orientation and Training

• Computer-based orientation for the organization
• One-on-one training for documentation systems and department orientation

Additional Information

• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Dress code: Polo shirts (Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, Chocolate Brown) or business casual
• Prior employment with the organization requires a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying
