Job Opportunity: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Location: Lehi, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work day or night shifts at a hospital located 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City.
• Responsible for patient assessments, care plans, implementation, evaluation, and revision of therapy plans as needed.
• Perform diagnostic testing including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry.
• Transport patients within the hospital or between facilities.
• May require working standard shifts, flexible hours before/after shifts, and overtime exceeding 40 hours per week.
• Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of scheduled hours as per department/facility policy.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP).
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required (preferred).
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Additional Information

• Week of orientation requires clinicians to be in-state, even if some modules are remote.
• Must be able to work within a 60-mile radius.
• Ability to drive and submit a valid driver’s license.
