Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLS/MLT) - Night Shift
Location
- Albany, Oregon
Employment Type
- Contract
- Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Rotating weekends
- 40 hours per week
Job Description
- Perform laboratory testing on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples to assist in diagnosing diseases and medical conditions.
- Testing supports hospital inpatients, emergency room patients, outpatients, and clinic specimens.
- Laboratory operates 24 hours a day.
- The lab is licensed under CLIA and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) credential (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent).
- Experience with one or more of the following is required:
- Epic
- Antibody identification
- Emergency blood banking
- Ortho Vitros 5600
