Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Kapaa, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility of extension)

Job Description

• Start time: 7:00 AM on a Monday (strict, no exceptions)
• Mandatory variable shifts totaling 80 hours in a two-week period
• Shift options:

  • AM: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • PM: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 8-hour Day, Evening, or Night shifts also available
• Float to Long Term Care or ICU departments as needed
• Open to 12-hour shifts, up to 72 hours per week
• Must meet the target start date without exceptions

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Hawaii
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NRP
• Experience in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and Long Term Care
• Must be available for all shifts

• Holiday pay based on hours worked on:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Independence Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day
• Upon confirmation, candidates must communicate arrival date and compliance status to the facility
