Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
Rehabilitation experience within the last year
BLS
Transfer training

Unit Details

Inpatient rehab unit
15 beds
Typical staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 CNA on both day and night shifts, with 1 charge nurse
Patient ratio is 5:1, with a maximum of 6:1
Uses transfer equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards

Common Responsibilities

Patient transfers
Bladder scans
Dressing changes
Medication administration

Work Environment

Team-oriented setting that values initiative
Floating may include med-surg, telemetry, renal, urology, orthopedic, and overflow units
Does not float to ICU
Every other weekend and holidays are expected
On-call is seldom required
