Overview

Travel RN assignment in Augusta, Georgia
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Nights and weekends

Unit

Emergency Department trauma area with 2 trauma bays
Role works in the emergency room during the initial primary and secondary survey period

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
TNCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

ENPC
ACLS
BLS
PALS

Clinical Skills / Experience

Mass transfusion management using a Level 1 rapid infuser
OR assistance when needed
Strong IV background
Ability to work in a high-stress environment
Rapid critical thinking
IV placement
Spinal stabilization
Splinting
Assisting with chest tube procedures
Traction
Central and arterial line placement
Emergency bedside procedures
