Travel RN assignment in Arlington, Texas
Unit: 3 Tower/622
30-bed unit in Tower A
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Acute Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

Medsurg/acute care experience
Previous HCA experience

Unit Details

Day shift staffing: 1 charge, 4-5 RNs if census supports, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, and 1-3 sitters
Night shift staffing: 1 charge, 4-5 RNs if census is full, 2 PCTs, and 1-3 sitters depending on patient population
Patient ratio: 6:1
Equipment includes Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
Floating is based on hospital needs

Typical Procedures / Patient Population

Post-surgical cases including cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement
Pain management
CIWA patients
