Overview

• Travel RN role in Crestview, Florida
• 13-week assignment
• Start date: Mid November, 11/16 or 11/23
• Day shift: 4x10s, 6:30a-5p
• Rotating weekends
• On-call required: 6-8 shifts per month
• Weekend call is a 24-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday, 7a-7a

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with robotic surgery

Role Details

• Operating Room Nurse responsibilities include patient care in the Operating Room, communication with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care
• Works with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT’s, and other personnel in the Operating Room
• Follows State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital and Surgical Department policies and procedures
