Location: Denver, Colorado Contract Length: 6 weeks Hours: 48 hours per week Employment Type: Travel

Required Qualifications

• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience (minimum 0.5 years), with experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Experience working with Neuro patients
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) and BLS documentation must be provided in the submission packet

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro interventional experience (strokes, aneurysms, SAH)
• Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal guidance

Unit and Shift Details

• Unit: Interventional Radiology
• Suites: 5 interventional radiology suites
• Equipment: 4 Siemens biplane units and 1 Siemens single-plane unit
• Patient ratio: 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN
• Shift: The posting header lists 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, while the unit information lists a day shift of 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month, with possible holiday coverage

Procedures and Case Mix

• Neuro: Comprehensive Stroke Center (strokes, aneurysms, SAH, DVST)
• Trauma: Level 1 Trauma Center (GI bleeds, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, nephrostomy, and more)
