Job info

Provides care for critically ill patients requiring monitoring of vital signs and oxygen levels
May monitor patients at bedside or remotely from a central location
Supports medication administration, patient monitoring, and standardized procedures in a critical care setting
Assists with recognition and response to cardiopulmonary emergencies
Monitors hemodynamic status, ventilated patients, and patients receiving non-invasive oxygen support
Supports care for patients receiving renal therapies, enteral/parenteral nutrition, and transition planning for patients and families

Demonstrates advocacy, clinical judgment, caring practices, systems thinking, response to diversity, collaboration, and clinical inquiry
Educates patients and families
