Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Role Overview

Travel assignment in the Cath Lab with 4 rooms and 1 patient per room.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
  • Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • ARRT
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • RCIS

Clinical Details

  • Typical procedures include cardiac cath, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT Lab, and scrubbing
  • Will consider an RN that can scrub
  • On-call is frequent and flexibility is needed
  • EMR: Meditech and MacLab

Unit Information

  • Cath Lab
  • 22 staff members
  • Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, Director, and 4 staff members per room
  • Night shift includes an on-call team with 3 each call team and 7 total
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Equipment: all GE rooms
