Interventional Radiology Tech
Assignment Overview
- Travel assignment in Denver, Colorado
- Interventional Radiology unit with 5 IR suites
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Alternating shifts: 7A–5:30P and 8A–4:30P
- On-call required: 1 night a week and 1 rotating weekend per month, with possible holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- Experience in an acute care setting
- ARRT (R)
- BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Neuro interventional procedures, including Strokes, Aneurysms, and SAH
- Expert knowledge of Vascular interventional Radiology procedures with minimal guidance
Unit Details
- 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN on the unit
- Equipment includes 4 Siemens Bi-plane systems and 1 Siemens Single plane system
- EMR: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS
Procedures / Clinical Focus
- Neuro: Comprehensive Stroke Center procedures, including Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH, and DVST
- Level 1 Trauma Center procedures, including GIB, EMBO’S, Gastronomy Tubes, and Nephrostomy
