Overview

• Travel OT role in Chandler, Arizona
• Facility department/cost center: Therapy
• One opening
• Adults
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• One weekend shift per month required
• Ability to float to the Gilbert location if needed due to census
• Unit has 50 beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
• Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience in an Acute Care or Inpatient Rehab or Skilled Nursing setting

Unit / Patient Setting

• Rehabilitation setting serving neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, amputation, orthopedics, wound care, respiratory therapy, and IV antibiotic therapy

Additional Details

• Patient ratio: PT/OT staff oversee about 9 patients
• Equipment includes In-motion, Synaptic, EKSO, and VR
• EHR systems: UDS and Cerner
• Scrub color: Maroon
• Time to report: typically 7:00 AM for OT staff
• On arrival, ask for the Therapy team; front desk will call the gym to have someone meet you
• Parking: any 3rd row parking spot in front of the building, or any parking spot on the side of the building
