Overview

Travel assignment in Valparaiso, Indiana
Start ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
Call required on weeknights and weekends
Floating: No
Block scheduling: Not an option
Patient ratio: 1:1
Unit has 12 beds
Scrub color: Surgical blue
Open Heart CST role; when not in open heart, traveler will be utilized in general cases

Required Qualifications

CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
CST
BLS
Experience working with Post-Operative Open Heart patients
Driver's License
Open heart surgery experience
Ability to scrub orthopedic cases
Ability to scrub neuro cases
Experience with da Vinci robotic surgery
Ability to scrub gynecology cases
Must attach required license and certifications with submission
Driver’s license and permanent home address must be included on submission, and the address must match ID
Must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

Schedule Notes

RTO blackout dates / required holidays: Thanksgiving week
Maximum RTO: 1 week
Approved orientation dates: 10/19/26 or every other Monday, except holidays
