Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Assignment

Location: Greenwood, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work in a 44-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness.
• Provide customized, intense rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Facility is accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs.

Work Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Approximately 36 hours per week
• Weekend work every third weekend
• No call requirements

Patient Population & Unit Details

• Patient ratio: 6:1 or 7:1
• Common diagnoses: amputation, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac issues, debility
• Unit has 59 beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience

This position is ideal for an RN with solid Med Surg experience looking to work in a specialized rehab setting on a travel contract.
