Job Requirements

• Experience:

  • 2-3 years of staff experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
  • Trauma Level One experience required
  • Competency with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in ICU
  • Skilled in managing high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring
  • Proficient with ventilators, arterial lines (a-lines), spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring, temporary pacemakers, vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations
• Epic experience: Required
• Scrubs: Navy blue scrubs required
• Competency Test: Must complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Local candidates from certain counties are not eligible
• Work involves high acuity ICU patients post cardiac and vascular surgery
• Position may require floating to other units (to be confirmed)
• EMR system: Epic
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
