  • Days: 1:5-6
  • Nights: 1:6-7 (ratios not guaranteed, adjusted as needed)

  • Nova Meters (Blood Glucose)
  • Alaris IV Pump
  • Kangaroo Pumps
  • SCD Machine
• EMR System: EPIC

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Utilize nursing process consistent with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility standards
• May float to other units based on staffing needs
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance), and exposure to blood/body fluids

Work Environment & Requirements

• Night shift with potential for flexible scheduling
• Must adhere to scrub color policy: black scrubs only, no open-toed shoes
• Flu vaccination required (November 1 - April 1), no declinations accepted
• High physical and mental demands typical of Med Surg nursing
