Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 42-bed Heart Failure / Stroke Unit specializing in neurological and cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure and acute stroke.
Patient ratio: 1:6
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and neurologists to provide expert care.
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
Schedule includes holidays as required and every other weekend.
Accepts 36 or 48 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

EMR system: Meditech
Dress code: Solid navy scrubs
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
