Job Opportunity: RN - PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a competent Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse with ventilator experience. The nurse practices independently in a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing clinical situations effectively. Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, medication administration, and patient/family education.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), with experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Work Schedule
- Full Time
- Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
