Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.
• Planning for safe delivery of care.
• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum of 2 years of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) nursing experience
• LTAC experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
