Physical Therapist (PT) Travel Position - Atlantis, Florida

Job Details

Work Schedule

• Shift: Days, 8 hours
• Weekends: One weekend per month (with weekdays off to balance)
• On Call: No

Unit Information

• Unit: 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation (IP Rehab)
• Staff: Approximately 12 staff per shift (Director, Lead PT, Physical and Occupational Therapists, and Assistants)

  • Day Shift: Director, Lead PT, 4-5 PTs, 5-6 PTAs
  • Night Shift: No night shifts
• Patient Ratios: Vary based on volume
• Equipment: Treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Experience & Skills

• Must have current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehab (IP Rehab), or skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• Ability to work varied day shift hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree

Typical Patient Population & Procedures

• Inpatient care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical populations
• Schedule varies based on surgical volume, including weekends and holiday rotations
