Job Opportunity: EP Tech (Travel Position)

Location: Webster, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (2 EP Labs, 4 Cath Labs)
• Number of Labs: 6
• Patient Ratio: 1 patient to 3 team members
• Equipment:

  • GE single plane x 3
  • Philips single plane x 2
  • GE Biplane x 1
• EMR System: Meditech (using Merge Hemo and LS Pro for EP/Cath Lab)

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an EP Tech (higher value confirmed)
• Must have EP experience
• Experience with monitoring and pacing EP cases

Preferred Skills

• Cath Lab experience / PCI procedures
• Experience with:

  • Ablations / EP Studies
  • Devices
  • LAAC (Left Atrial Appendage Closure)
  • Pacemaker/Defibrillators

Certifications Required

• ACLS
• BLS

Work Environment and Expectations

• Typical shifts: Day shift with a team including RNs, Radiology Techs, RCIS, Surgical Aides, OR Analysts, Coordinators
• Personality fit: Flexible, positive, team player
• Floating areas: Cath Lab and sister hospital mainland
• Dress code: Scrubs provided by scrub machine
• Potential on-call and weekend work
