Travel Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Unit: Medical/Surgical 5th Floor
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (5:30 PM start)
• Schedule: Every other weekend or every weekend (candidate choice)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Float: Required within facility and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius
• On Call/Call Back: None
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5-6, paired with LPN/CNA support based on acuity
• Primary Patient Cases: Medical-Surgical, COVID, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization, post-pacemaker care; occasional pediatric patients

Required Qualifications

• License: Wisconsin RN License
• Certifications: AHA BLS
• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years as an RN in Medical-Surgical specialty
  • At least 1 prior travel contract required
• Charting: EPIC experience within the last year required
• Other: Ability to manage change well, resilient, strong work ethic, and social skills

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Black
• Orientation: 8 hours (unbillable)
• Holidays: As needed
• No travelers accepted from within 50 miles of the corporate center
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week; guaranteed hours except when unit is closed for holidays
