Job Overview

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Hours per day: 8
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP

Schedule

Guaranteed hours: 36–48 per week
Shift pattern: 8-hour PM shifts
Weekend/holiday rotation: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
On-call: None

Work Setting

Float team role with assignments within skillset across observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care units
Facility will try to keep the traveler in 1–2 similar units when possible

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Float experience within the last year
1 year of float experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with venipuncture
Experience with Cardizem administration
Experience with ports
Experience with Foley/straight catheterization
Experience with stable drips

Preferred

Previous travel experience
Epic charting experience within the past 2 years
NIHSS certification at submission

Additional Notes

Contractors must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Orientation hours are not guaranteed
Medical compliance must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance, or within 24 hours for a quick start
Scrubs should not have bright colors or character prints
