Cardiovascular (CVL) Tech Job Opportunity

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Job Summary

• Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.
• Responsibilities include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural caseload.
• Provide emergent care as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring equipment maintenance, and lab cleanliness.
• Ensure procedure rooms are prepared and compliant with local, federal, and organizational regulations.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1+ years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure experience, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording duties.
• Must be a team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prefer 3 years of experience in adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or electrophysiology (EP) procedures with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording duties.

Education Requirements

• Required:

  • Associate’s Degree in one of the following:

    • Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program
    • Radiology
    • Respiratory Therapy
    • Paramedic program
    • Surgical Technology
  • OR four (4) years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.

• Preferred: None specified

Required Certifications & Licensure

• RCIS or RCES
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is required only at Presbyterian Downtown location
