Job Opportunity: Laboratory Coordinator

Job Summary
Perform basic and routine diagnostic laboratory procedures within certified labs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures for isolation and identification of microbial pathogens from clinical specimens.
- Prepare specimens and operate automated analyzers; may perform manual tests following detailed instructions.
- Maintain knowledge of laboratory techniques, principles, instrumentation, and physiological conditions affecting test results.
- Stay familiar with various testing procedures conducted in the laboratory.
- Assist in special projects, evaluate new products and instrumentation, and perform quality control procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No prior experience required, but some lab exposure is preferred.
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technician certification preferred.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Education: Associate degree or equivalent combination of lab experience and education.
