Location: East Elmhurst, New York

Provide quality mental health care to incarcerated adult men under supervision.
Conduct mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, assessments, and follow-up care.
Determine and coordinate patient disposition for appropriate levels of mental health care.
Collaborate with Reentry Social Workers for discharge planning.
Complete required statistical reports and documentation.
Work with the Department of Correction to ensure patient access, proper housing, and treatment disposition.
Coordinate patient care with other institutional programs.
Develop and lead group treatment sessions on mental health observation units and other assigned units.
Participate in clinical supervision weekly.
Attend mental health and medical rounds as assigned.
Participate in case conferences and treatment planning for patients receiving or considered for mental health treatment.
May conduct psychological testing as assigned.
May supervise social work interns or student volunteers.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
