Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
Intermediate Care experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
2 years of emergency nursing experience
ED - Emergency Department experience

Skills and Responsibilities

Assess patients’ physical, social, behavioral, and mental status
Develop and revise plans of care
Provide nursing care, including medication administration and treatment support
Respond to medical/surgical and critical emergencies
Use infection control procedures and protocols
Provide health teaching and medication instructions
Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
