Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
- Intermediate Care experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- 2 years of emergency nursing experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience
Skills and Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical, social, behavioral, and mental status
- Develop and revise plans of care
- Provide nursing care, including medication administration and treatment support
- Respond to medical/surgical and critical emergencies
- Use infection control procedures and protocols
- Provide health teaching and medication instructions
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
