Job Overview
- Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Work under the direction of radiologists, supervisors, and radiology management.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, residents, support personnel, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain safety guidelines for self, patients, and support staff.
- Ensure excellent patient service through effective communication and proper technique.
- Maintain flexibility to staff various locations, shifts, and shift lengths.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support optimal patient care.
Work Schedule
- 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
- Start times between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM.
- Must be able to work varied hours, including responding to an on-call pager for days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Arizona
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Certification by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in radioactive isotope administration
- Proficiency in imaging equipment operation
- Completion of competency assessments
