Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Role Overview

• Temp day shift CST role, 40 hours per week.
• 8-hour or 10-hour day shifts.
• 6–7 call shifts per month, about every 4th or 5th weekend.
• Patient population includes Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
• Trauma Level III.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• NBSTSA or TS-C.
• Experience with general surgery.
• Experience with obstetric (OB) surgery including C-sections.
• Familiarity with total joint surgery procedures.
• Experience with orthopedic surgery.
• Experience with urology surgery.
• Experience with orthospine surgery.
• 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment.
• License verification.
• Permanent address must be included in the submission file.
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility.
• RTO request cannot exceed 3 days.

Preferred

• NBSTSA certification preferred, but not required.
• Previous travel experience highly preferred.
• Candidates with NBSTSA certification will be given first consideration.

Additional Notes

• NH Med Tech is required, but can be applied for at time of offer.
