Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.
• Treat patients using modalities and exercise according to approved treatment plans.
• Understand limitations as an assistant.
• Assist in maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner.
• Complete all documentation of daily notes and discharge data.
• Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care and musculoskeletal (MS) Physical Therapist Assistant experience.
• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license for Oklahoma.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent travel experience preferred (not required).

Additional Information

• Orientation for Allied and Therapy Travelers starts on Tuesdays.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
• No increased pay for overtime, holidays, or call-back hours.
• On-call pay provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum hour requirement.
• Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after direct employment ends.
