Valid RN license in Texas
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ONS/ONCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Chemotherapy Infusion experience
Experience with Epic

Key Responsibilities

Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
Administer medications safely and perform point-of-care monitoring
Provide cancer care assessments across the continuum of care
Educate patients and families on cancer care, therapies, side effects, interventions, and prevention
Document patient care accurately and on time
Serve as a preceptor, trainer, charge nurse, and resource to unit nurses
