Role Overview

• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations.
• Use portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform and process X-Rays.
• Transmit images to Radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to Cardiologists.
• Maintain and operate portable X-Ray equipment and vehicle.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-Ray images.
• Perform EKGs when required.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in good working order.
• Follow protocols for documentation and communication.

Physical Demands

• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs multiple times daily (16 to 24 times).
• Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys reduces physical strain but some heavy lifting/moving is required.

Requirements

• Maintain required California state licensure and ARRT certification.
• Valid California driver’s license in good standing.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or approved exemption documentation.
• Limited licenses are not accepted.
