Overview

Labor and Delivery RN role in a high-risk, high-volume L&D setting with 4 ORs and 31 rooms/beds.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• AWHONN Advanced
• AWHONN Intermediate
• 5 years of high-risk experience
• 3 or more years of experience with high-risk experience

Additional Details

• First-time travelers accepted
• Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Pre-approved time off is reviewed case by case
• Float scope includes postpartum and antepartum, with possible float to sister facilities that do Mother/Baby
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
• Average daily census is 15
• Delivers 500–600 babies per month
