Emergency Room Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Torrance, California
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours per week: 36
Patient ratio: 1:4
First-time travelers accepted
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, 6–8 shifts per contract
May float to pediatric units
Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
RTO must be included at submission

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
PALS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Work Conditions

On-call not required
Free parking
Any scrub color allowed
Epic charting

Additional Notes

Local radius is 50 miles
Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
May also be required to float to another nearby unit if needed
