Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Orange, California
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
- 13-week contract
- 4x10 schedule may be considered
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
- 1 year of Acute Care Case Management experience
- Strong Emergency Department experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience
- Strong InterQual experience
- Experience with Epic
Assessments and Testing
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Medication/calculation exam
- Infection Control/Bloodborne Pathogens exam
- Arrhythmia recognition assessment required for ER-related RN roles
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
- N95 fit test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Hepatitis B series or declination
- Flu vaccination or declination
- Tdap or pertussis titer if Tdap cannot be obtained for health reasons
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- Hepatitis C titer preferred; declination accepted if needed
- 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
