Job Overview

• Location: Camden, New Jersey
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
• Weekly hours: 36
• Schedule notes: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Call: No call
• Floating: Required within 7 hospitals within skillset
• Block scheduling: Not allowed
• First-time travelers: Accepted, but not preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• TNCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Compliance and Onboarding

• RTO must be submitted at time of application; no RTO after submission and none within the first week of start
• Government-issued photo ID
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Background check and education verification
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Pass/fail testing acknowledgement
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Fit testing within the first week of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
• Drug screen within 6 months of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption documentation
• Eye exam with visual acuity of 20/40 or better
• Latex questionnaire
