Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Honesdale, Pennsylvania
• 4-week contract
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• PACU/SDS coverage
• Start date: 8/31
• Call requirement: 7–10 call days in a 4-week period

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• 1 year of PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam
• State License 1 Verification
• Emergency Contact Form
• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
• Rubella immunity documentation
• Rubeola (measles) immunity documentation
• Mumps immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• Drug screen
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
• COVID vaccination card or declination
• 2 professional references within 3 years of start
• Skills checklist
• Pennsylvania child abuse search
• Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprint results
• Pennsylvania PATCH search results

Additional Notes

• Meditech is the EMR system used
• NIH Stroke Certification is required for ER, ICU, MedSurg, and PCU, but not listed as required for this PACU role
• STABLE is preferred for OB roles, not required
