Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Wichita Falls, Texas
• Start date within the next 3–5 weeks
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 7:00–19:00
• 36 hours per week
• 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee

Role focus

• Strong cardiac background required
• Unit has a heavy cardiac/CVA population
• Must be able to manage cardiac drips, heparin, nitro, etc.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Experience with cardiac drips
• Ability to manage heparin and nitro drips
• ACLS
• BLS
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam
• Physical exam
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
• Rubeola (Measles)
• Mumps
• Rubella
• Hepatitis B
• Varicella
• Drug testing
• Flu seasonal vaccination/documentation
• COVID vaccination documentation
• 2 references within 3 years of start

• Previous charge experience
• Epic experience

Scheduling / attendance

• All RTO must be included at the time of submission or before accepting the offer
• Facility will not accept RTO that spans all holidays
