Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Certifications: ARRT (R), RCIS, or CCI required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of specialty experience (higher value confirmed)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (1st time travelers welcome)
• Specific Skills:

  • Must have EP Lab experience
  • Ability to scrub cases involving interventional cardiac procedures, pacemakers, temporary pacemakers, and vascular procedures
• Work Schedule:

  • No call
  • 10-hour shifts or until procedures are completed
  • No weekend shifts (no Saturdays or Sundays)

Required Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (AHA only; Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
• BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
• PALS (AHA only; Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
• NRP (as applicable)
• Tech Cert Verification - National (within 30 days of start)
• State License Primary Source Verification (permanent license required; no temporary licenses)
• NURSYS Verification (within 30 days of start)
• EPIC Pass/Fail Testing (administered onsite; 2 attempts allowed)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Color Blind Testing (online exam accepted)
• Core Competency Exams (as applicable)

Background & Health Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 60 days of start, including all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 60 days of start
• Education verification of highest level attained
• Missouri State-specific search (MO EDL) within 60 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 12 months of start (specific mask models required)
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire (updated annually)
• Immunizations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine required if applicable (within 10 years)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required during flu season (Sept 1 - Mar 31) or approved exemption

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references required
• Employment application and annual skills checklist required
• Clear, passport-style photo for badge
• Completion of facility-specific e-learning within 3-5 days of receiving access
• Acknowledgement of EPIC pass/fail testing onsite

Notes

• Work is within a 75-mile radius of the facility location
• No weekend work required
• Shifts are 10 hours or until procedures are completed
• Must be able to scrub in on interventional cardiac procedures and pacemaker cases
