Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Shift: Nights, 4 shifts of 12 hours each (4x12s)
Schedule: Weekends every other weekend

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience
• Must be able to interpret and sign off tele strips

Licenses & Certifications

• Wisconsin or Compact Nursing License in hand
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required before interviewing
• NIH Stroke Certification required (must be current and renewed annually)

Background Checks & Compliance

• 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, updated annually
• State-specific caregiver screening per Wisconsin requirements
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray acceptable if within 60 days)
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 14 days before start (instant acceptable)

Additional Certifications & Competencies (as applicable)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) recommended but not required for this role
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as required by specialty
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exams as applicable
• Color Blind Testing if working in dialysis/kidney center (not specified for this role)

• Compliance checklist and confidentiality statement to be completed prior to start

Immunization Requirements

• Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract for a Registered Nurse working night shifts in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
