Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Willcox, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• License: Current and valid CT Tech professional license (state license copy required).
• Experience: Minimum years of specialty experience not explicitly stated; assume standard CT Tech experience requirements.
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or American Red Cross only
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or Red Cross only

  • NIH Stroke Certification (valid for 1 year)

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (required for RNs, may be applicable)
  • Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) if assigned to specific units (see notes below)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days of assignment start; cannot be pending at start. Includes multi-county/statewide searches, OFAC, National Sex Offender Search, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks.
• Driver’s License/State ID: Must be current and show address; include name change documentation if applicable.
• Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by physician, NP, or PA.
• Fit Mask Testing: N95 fit test within 1 year of start; onsite testing allowed if pending at start.
• Immunizations & Health Requirements:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within past 10 years (declinations allowed except for certain units)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) – proof of vaccination or positive titer; no declinations accepted
  • Hepatitis B – proof of vaccination or positive titer; declinations allowed with signed form
  • Varicella – proof of vaccination or positive titer; no declinations accepted
  • Drug Testing: 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start, must be started within 72 hours of booking
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 30)

Orientation & Facility Specific Requirements

• Contract Staff Orientation Sign-Off required for all except RNs
• RN Orientation Sign-Off required for all RNs
• Facility-specific job description required
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing required if assigned to certain units (PCCU, MS/Tele, Observation Unit, Ortho, Women’s Unit, Peds/PICU, Peds ER)
• Tobacco, Nicotine, and Vaping Policy review prior to start

References & Employment History

• Two professional references from employment within the last 3 years required; one must be supervisory
• Employment application with last 7 years of work history; gaps of 30 days or more must be explained
• Skills checklist must be updated annually
