Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Evening (5 shifts per week, 8 hours each)
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Continual Reassessment.
Serve as a patient advocate and coordinate care.
Promote safety and clinical/service quality in daily practice.
May float to Labor & Delivery to assist as a baby nurse.
No on-call required.
Work schedule includes every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
Minimum of 1 year of Maternal-Newborn nursing experience, with recent experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
