CVOR Registered Nurse

Overview

• Location: Oak Ridge, Tennessee
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Hours per week: 40
• Schedule notes: Monday–Friday
• Call requirements: 2 nights per week and every other weekend
• Holiday rotation: Required
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Float: Required
• Travel policy: No first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• CVOR (1 year of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Color Blind Testing
• 2 supervisory references
• 7-year work history
• Unit-specific skills checklist completed within the last year
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam
• Core Part I
• Core Part II
• Core Part III
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
• Physical exam
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Drug testing
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption, if applicable
• MMR documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• Employment application with nursing license details
• Photo for badge
• Background check
• Drivers license or state ID
• Onboarding attestation
• Job description acknowledgment
• Background check alias name attestation, if needed

Notes for Candidates
