Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

• Work in Surgical Services specialty.
• Must have NBSTSA certification and hold CST credential.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Call requirement: at least two call days per week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule, depending on need.
• Overtime (OT) days expected each week.
• Floating to other units/campuses within the health system may be required based on census; floating only to qualified units/tasks with demonstrated competencies.
• Locals accepted if within 100 miles of facility (at reduced rate).
• No pending licenses accepted.
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
• Experience required: minimum 1 year in specialty.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CVOR Technologist, with experience within the last year.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or NBSTSA certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

• Start date: approximately 3 weeks after contract signing.

• Candidates with gaps over 30 days between assignments require updated physical and TB testing.
• Candidates must complete all required testing and modules before being cleared to start.
• Candidates must have a seven-year work history documented in their application.
