Job Opportunity: Perfusionist

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (5 days per week, 8 hours per day; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Must have experience working in a Level 1 teaching hospital.
• Call responsibility is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Perfusionist license in Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of Perfusionist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Background checks and state-specific registry checks as required by Missouri regulations.
• Completion and signing of confidentiality, security agreements, and standards of ethical conduct.
• Completion of post-start orientation checklists.
• Completion of required online training modules, including any specialty-specific training.
• Submission of a passport-style photo for badge issuance.
• Completion of respirator fit test form and submission of fit test record.
• Timely submission of all required documentation to avoid risk of removal from assignment.

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Candidates must be willing to comply with all health and safety protocols, including mask fit testing.
• Candidates with pending Missouri licenses may be considered.
• Modules and training must be updated annually as required.
• Some exemptions (flu, COVID) must be approved by the agency and documented on facility-specific forms.
