Clinical Lab Scientist - Travel/Contract

Job Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Must work every other weekend
• Microbiology experience is a plus but not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience, including experience within the last year

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Healthcare Provider required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred but not required for this specialty
• Other certifications (PALS, NRP, CNOR, TNCC, Chemo) not required for this role

Additional Information

• Facility-specific documents must be reviewed and signed prior to start, including orientation guide, confidentiality agreement, dress and grooming standards, harassment-free workplace policy, IT acceptable use policy, and parking information
• Candidate must complete a medication test study guide prior to start
• Physical exam required for direct placements only (within 1 year of start)
• If unable to complete fit test prior to start, it can be scheduled onsite (cost billed to agency)
• Candidates with facial hair must be CAPR trained

This is a 13-week travel contract for a Clinical Lab Scientist working day shifts in a pediatric healthcare setting. The role requires standard laboratory licensure and compliance with extensive background checks, immunizations, and competency testing. Microbiology experience is a plus but not mandatory.
