Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Work on an Adolescent Neuropsych Unit with a high-acuity behavioral health population.
- Position requires floating within scope to any age population as needed.
- May be required to serve as charge RN during shifts (no additional pay for charge role).
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend.
- Night shift: 5 nights per week, 8-hour shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Behavioral Health experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
- Behavioral Health experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
- No on-call required.
- Locals accepted.
- Floating to other units or populations may be required based on scheduling needs.
- Fingerprinting must be done in Maryland; out-of-state mail-in fingerprinting is not allowed without prior approval.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training will be provided onsite.
- Medication and competency exams required as applicable.

- Government-issued photo ID required.
- Completion of multiple facility-specific documents including criminal background disclosure, confidentiality agreements, informed consent, privacy act statement, and COVID questionnaire.
- Must upload all required health and background documents before start.
- Facility-specific job description and nursing expectations must be reviewed and acknowledged.
