CT Tech - Travel/Contract

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Holidays: Required as needed
• Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: Pending
• Target Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Unit Systems Experience Required: Omnicell, Meditech Expanse (medication, documentation, communication)

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience with Meditech

Compliance & Background Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually (includes all aliases, counties, national, sex offender, education verification)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
• Education verification or official transcript accepted
• Massachusetts Statewide iCORI clearance within 30 days of start (must have documentation of clear results)
• Primary source verification of state license

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start (acceptable masks: 1870+, 1860, 1860S); onsite fit testing available if needed
• Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray per facility guidelines (QGOLD or TSPOT within 6 months, or 2 PPDs with timing requirements)
• Annual TB questionnaire in lieu of annual TB test
• Immunity or vaccination documentation required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or completed series; if incomplete, must start series with documentation)
  • Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccine or signed declination during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31)
• COVID-19 booster documentation or signed declination

Facility Specific Requirements

• Passport-style photo (neck up, light background) for badge
• Review and sign facility policies including:

  • Confidentiality Agreement
  • Corporate Compliance Program Acknowledgement
  • CARE Values Always Behavior
  • Policy Acknowledgement Sign-off
  • Standards of Behavior Applicant Sheet
• Complete Emergency Contact and Vehicle Registration forms prior to start
• Upload required compliance documents and complete TB survey in facility’s document management system prior to start

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be flexible to cover first and second shifts at multiple sites as needed
• Documentation must include name and date of birth on all health records and immunizations
• References are not required by the facility but should be collected per standard practice
• Annual skills checklist required

This position offers an opportunity for CT Technologists with at least 2 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology to work a 13-week travel contract in Massachusetts with a structured 4x10 day shift schedule and comprehensive compliance and health requirements.
